In the summer of 2007, an extremely successful cricket fun day was held at Birkmyre Park. Following on from this success, there were 3 fixtures arranged for the 2008 season, an overseas tour to Inellan CC, an international tour to Nevill Holt CC and nearer to home a closely fought encounter with Greenock CC 3rd XI.
Following on from the previous two years, a third Family Day was held on 9 August 2009, the successful format remains the same, this year Jamie Davidson’s team were the winners. Special thanks again to Lesley for the behind the scenes organisation. The 2009 season also saw the club’s first win at Inellan on Sunday 21 June, more details on the results page.
If you would like some more information about the club and its future plans, you can find the contact details on the Contact Page.
Can you help? Mrs Edna McGeoch has very kindly donated a team photo of the Kilmacolm XI circa 1936-38. Mrs McGeoch’s father was the captain, seated centre and her mother is front left.
If you know any of the other team members please let us know via the details on the contact page.
